Expo admission is free if registered ahead of the event for qualified attendees. A fee applies to all others including non-exhibiting manufacturers.

Where is registration and badge pickup located?

Is there an extra charge to attend the keynotes or show floor education?

When should I pick up my badge?
The busiest times for attendee badge pick-up are during the morning on the two days of the show between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. To avoid wait times, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before the expo floor opens or before the first education session you plan to attend.

Is there a dress code?
There is no stated dress code to attend MD&M Midwest 2025; however, we do recommend that you dress professionally to make the best impression on your potential business partners. Due to the high amount of walking on the show floor, we encourage wearing comfortable shoes, as well.

Can children attend the show?
For safety, insurance, and security reasons, no one under the age of 18 is permitted in the expo halls. Please note that there are no childcare services available onsite.

Animal Policy — Animals are not allowed at the event. The only exception is for service dogs, which must be kept under control at all times.

Are there any sccessibility and parent accommodations?
The City of Minneapolis goes to great lengths to be an accessible city, for information on accessibility throughout the city, please review Meet Minneapolis' Accessibility Guide.

• ADA Accommodations:
  For any ADA services or accommodations you may require, please contact us at 310-445-4273. Kindly note that requests made within two weeks may pose challenges in fulfillment. We appreciate your understanding.
• Service Animals:
  MD&M Midwest and Minneapolis Convention Center welcome working guide and service animals into all public areas of the building. Water filling stations are located throughout the building. Accessible toileting is available outside on the Urban Meadow Plaza.
• Lactation Lounges:
  There are two lactation lounges available in the Minneapolis Convention Center. If you need access to this, please visit the MCC Visitor Information Center or call their Command Center at 612-335-6040 for assistance.

How do I get on the mailing list for next year’s event?
If you register for one of our shows, you will be added to the mailing list for that event and will receive information regarding next year's show as it becomes available. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for our other events, complete the online registration inquiry form for that event. You'll find the complete list of all events at findmanufacturingbuyers.com. To be removed from our mailing list, please email [email protected] and specify the show(s) from which you would like to be removed.

Where can I find a detailed list of exhibitors?

Will food & beverages be available at the event?
Concessions will be located in the front of Halls C/D/E. Concession stands inside the hall will be open at 10 a.m. each show day. Dunn Brothers in the convention center’s main lobby is open at 7 a.m. every day. For exact locations of the concession areas on the show floor, please view the Floor Plan in the Event Dashboard and mobile app.

Is there a coat check?
Yes, a coat/luggage check will be available in the MCC Main Lobby, behind the Visitor’s Information Counter, on Tuesday, and Wednesday. Note: There is a $5 per item fee.

Where is first aid?
There is a First Aid station & EMT located in the convention center’s main lobby, behind Dunn Bros Coffee, for any medical assistance needed during the event.

What if I lost an item?
Lost & Found information will become available closer to the show.

Is there a press room for media attendees?
For members of the press, the Press Room will be announced closer to the show.

Where can I find additional services and facilities?

• Pick-up/Drop-Off: Ride-shares (e.g., Lyft and Uber), public transportation (e.g., bus), and accessibility pick-up and drop-off locations are located in front of the Minneapolis Convention Center on 2nd Avenue South.
• Taking the Bus: Metro Transit Trip Planner Buses and taxis are readily available at the MCC. Use Metro Transit's Trip Planner for easy door-to-door directions for buses and light-rail trains.
  
  Free bus rides are available at Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis and to and from the Minneapolis Convention Center. The free service on selected routes between Grant Street and Washington Avenue is offered on buses marked "Free Ride." Other buses on Nicollet – and all within the Downtown Zone – charge 50¢. Free-ride buses leave every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 to 30 minutes on weekends. Buses on Nicollet stop every other block between 5th and 13th Streets.

Is Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis now called MD&M Midwest?
Yes, we are changing the name of the Midwest's largest annual end-to-end design and manufacturing event from Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis to MD&M Midwest.

Originally co-located as MD&M Minneapolis, ATX Minneapolis, D&M Minneapolis, Plastec Minneapolis, and MinnPack, we are breaking down the barriers and introducing one unified event that features interconnected industry sectors such as MedTech, Automation, Design & Manufacturing, Plastics, and Packaging.

Our special focus on your specialty is not changing. One MD&M unites a community of multiple special interests who all share a single goal – to advance their knowledge, contacts and progress in the world of high specification advanced manufacturing.

Where can I rent a wheelchair?
The Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) rents both power-operated vehicles (scooters) and manual wheelchairs at the Visitor Information Center located in the main lobby. Here are a few points to keep in mind:

• Equipment should be returned to the Visitor Information Center each day.
• Payment: The MCC only accepts Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Checks and cash are not accepted.
• Rates: Scooters are $50 per day. Wheelchairs are $20 per day.

How do I file an incident report with security?
If you see something suspicious at the event or have an item you believe might be stolen, our enhanced security measures make it quick and easy to file a report with convention center security to make sure your concerns are looked after. Security office location to be disclosed closer to the event.

I’m having trouble with my mobile phone, what do I do?

How do I pre-register for the expo? 
Once registration is open, go to our registration page and enter any promo code you may have received. Or click on the Save The Date button at the top of each page of the website to be notified when registration opens.

What if I do not pre-register for the expo? 
You can register onsite and pay the onsite registration fee.

If I attended the show last year do I need to register again for this year's show?
Yes, you must register for every show you plan to attend. We do not carry over any registrations from our shows.

How long does it take to receive my registration confirmation?
An e-mail confirmation should be received within 24 hours after you've registered.

Can I check if my registration has been confirmed on your website?
Although registration is not yet open for MD&M Midwest 2025, once it is open you will be able to view and/or update your registration information by returning to the registration website and entering your email address and password.

How can I get my badge for this event?
You can pick up your badge at the registration desk in the main lobby across from the Visitor’s Center upon arrival at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

I registered online & received a confirmation email, what do I do now?
Look out for an email from [email protected] that contains your digital credential QR code. Your digital credential QR code email should have arrived in your inbox after completing the registration process.

I registered last minute; how can I get my digital credential?
When you registered for the event, an email from [email protected] should have been instantly sent to your inbox with your digital credential QR code. If you don’t see it in your inbox, go to our Registration Customer Service counter at the convention center main lobby and one of our staff will assist you.

I don’t own a smart phone; how can I get my digital credential?
Come onsite and head over to the Registration Customer Service counter at the the convention center main lobby, and one of our staff will be able to assist you.

I have my digital credential, but it won’t scan; What do I do?
Please make sure your mobile device’s screen brightness is set at its highest. If you’re still unable to have it scanned, please head over to our Registration Customer Service counter at the Minneapolis Convention Center lobby, and one of our staff will be able to assist you.

Can I bring my own name tag to this event?
Yes, feel free to bring your own name tag/physical badge. Please note, you will still need to download your digital credential and redeem a printed badge to have it scanned upon arriving onsite to access the show floor and conference.

I don’t have my own name tag, but would still like a physical name tag; what do I do?
At Registration counters in the the convention center main lobby, we’ll have multiple badge printers that will be available for you to print your badge. Be sure you know the email used to register for the event and/or have access to your registration confirmation email as you will need this to use the printers.

How do I get a correction on my digital credential or badge?
Head over to our Registration Customer Service counter at the Minneapolis Convention Center main lobby, and one of our staff will be able to assist you.

Does MD&M Midwest offer group discounts on registration?
Yes! We offer discounts for groups registering together:

• Groups of 3-5: Save 15%
• Groups of 6-9: Save 20%
• Groups of 10 or more: Save 25%

These group discounts apply automatically during registration, so you don't need any codes. Just register your group together and enjoy the savings! Promo codes and group discounts cannot be combined.

What happens if I lose my badge?
If you lose your badge, you can pick up a replacement at the Registration Customer Service counter at the Minneapolis Convention Center main lobby.

What is the cancellation policy for MD&M Midwest?

• Refund requests will not be accepted for paid expo pass registrations. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• We have waived the conference pass cancellation fee until September 21, 2025.
• Conference registrations may not be cancelled online. All cancellation/refund requests for conference must be received in writing by September 21, 2025, for a full refund.
• Cancellation/refund requests starting September 22, 2025, are subject to a cancellation fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• After September 22, 2025, you may send someone in your place subject to a transfer fee.

Yes, you have an option for charging your EV:

• MPLS Parking — Leamington: Minneapolis offers 8 EV charging stations in the Leamington Parking Ramp structure that is connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center via the Skyway. To use one of the EV charging stations you must have an account through ChargePoint.
